Painter, Photoshop and OpenCanvas ^^. We just had a great course on Painter at school, and I finally learned how to use more tools than just the Scratchboard Tool (for example, that Nero drawing was done in Painter with 2B Pencil, coloured with Digital Watercolor:Simple Water and finally edited in Photoshop).

Thats my gratest problem considering painter...I just dont know which tools to use! And each time I make custom brush the color blends all wrong -.-

What school are you at? You have Painter course? O_O *drool*

Sweeeeeeet! I was half-expecting the colors to not live up to the sketch, as these things often go, but the opposite happened.

Yeah, I've found painter overwhelming at times (and slow brushes, argh!), but eventually I found a few brushes that I could play nice with. I've never tried any of the watercolors...after seeing that drawing, I'll have to give it a try.

Don't suppose those of us drooling over it can request a wallpaper version? I get lonely at work. >.>

I always work at such small resolutions that I can hardly make wallpapers out of my works x_X. I've linked the image to the largest version I've got. Must try to make larger pics in the future~!

I study graphic design at a local polytechnic ("university of applied sciences" or whatever), and we've got these wonderful "theme weeks" twice a year when we can choose to study different and often very specialised topics. This time we got a really nice British guy to teach us how to use Painter <3<3. The program always seemed so overwhelming to me, but I think I've become a lot more familiar and confident using it.

Gosh, both my hands hurt a lot now, been using way too much computer this week xD (and my work involves teaching kids how to draw, so no rest for the wicked >_<). I'll get working on Ombrepierre's commish soon, after that I'll reconsider things a bit, maybe hold an art auction or something, and then I'll probably open the commission line again.

Payment has been delivered, it's been an honor Noanoa.

btw, do the letters around Nero's palm say anything specific or is it just gibberish?

I would love to have a picture done by you.
Could you please place me on your list once you start taking commissions again?
I would greatly appriciate it.
